Chuck Surdyke – Spirit of the Sport

Last Year worked well…..but we need more stories!

$660 cold hard cash to be split between the 100 Acre Wood Regional entry that is the center of the best story of the weekend and the party that posts the story.

Anyone associated with the 100 Acre Wood can post stories: National or Regional competitors, volunteers, or spectators. Every rally has 100 stories. We want to read about them.

To participate, submit a short story to social media and if available, a related video clip. Tag #100AW and #SurdykeAward. Submission deadline is the start of the Regional Podium Ceremony.

Stories should contain one or more example of the following:
● Sportsmanship
● Bad Luck
● Fun
● Tenacity
● Never-say-die
● Overnight repairs
● Miraculous mechanics
● Narrow escape

Please don’t post your own stories; recognize the spirit of the sport and put stories of your fellow competitors in the Chuck Surdyke Spirit of the Sport out on social media.
